The TEKKEN WORLD TOUR (TWT) FINALS 2025 in Malmö, Sweden, ended with a bang. While the world watched DRX | LowHigh claim the championship trophy, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe stole the show. They officially unveiled TEKKEN 8 Season 3, confirming the return of three fan-favorite fighters and a massive year for competitive play.
Fan Favorites Return
The biggest news for casual and competitive players alike is the Season 3 Roster. Bandai Namco is bringing back three iconic characters to join the fight.
First up is Kunimitsu. The masked fan-favorite arrives in Late Spring 2026. Known for her incredible speed and ninjutsu, she is the first of four planned characters for this season.
Following her, the “Speed and Weight” master Bob makes his return. Bob has always been a top-tier threat, combining heavy hits with surprising agility. Finally, the “boxing kangaroo” Roger Jr. returns to provide some of the series’ most unique and chaotic gameplay.
Season 3 Pass and Early Access
Players can jump into the new content soon. The Season 3 Pass officially goes on sale on 10 February 2026. Purchasing the pass offers several major perks:
- Four New Playable Characters (Including Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr.)
- 120 Hours of Early Access for all characters
- New Battle Stage (Details coming soon)
- Aurora Outfit Pack (Exclusive character costumes)
The Aurora Outfit Pack will be available for download immediately upon purchasing the pass on February 10.

Major Gameplay Updates and Rank Reset
The new season officially begins in March 2026. It isn’t just about new faces; the game is getting a significant overhaul. Bandai Namco confirmed a series of balance adjustments to refine the fighting experience. To keep the competitive ladder fresh, players should also prepare for a rank reset when the season launches.
The Road to Tekken World Tour 2026
The competitive hype continues into next year. The TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2026 kicks off in May 2026 at EVO Japan. The season will feature a refined “Master” event structure, including stops at:
- EVO Japan (Master+)
- EVO Las Vegas (Master+)
- EVO Nice (Master+)
The season will conclude at Thaiger Uppercut 2026 for the final Master Event. More details regarding the full tour schedule and Master event announcements will arrive later this year.
