The legendary Heihachi Mishima has returned to the TEKKEN arena in TEKKEN 8, marking his dramatic comeback as the third DLC of Season Pass 1, following the releases of Eddy and Lidia. This brings the game’s roster to a total of 35 characters.
Despite his apparent demise at the end of TEKKEN 7, Heihachi has managed to cheat death, returning with an evolved fighting style honed during his time with the Tekken monks. His fierce presence in the ring adds even more depth to the game’s already stellar lineup.
New Stage: Genmaji Temple
Along with Heihachi’s arrival, players can now also purchase the new Genmaji Temple stage, offering a visually stunning and challenging environment for combat.
Free Content Update – Version 1.08
The 1.08 update introduces a wealth of free content for all players. A brand-new Story Mode titled Unforgotten Echoes has been added, running parallel to the main TEKKEN 8 storyline. This mode focuses on Heihachi, Eddy, and Lidia, shedding light on how Heihachi survived his supposed fate in TEKKEN 7.
Even if players haven’t purchased the DLC characters, they can still play as Eddy, Lidia, and Heihachi in this exciting new story mode.
New Features and Customization
In response to fan requests, TEKKEN 8 now allows players to customize the main menu character screen, giving everyone the option to choose their favorite fighter to appear. Additionally, players can now practice online with friends in the TEKKEN Fight Lounge.
For those who love customizing their characters, the latest TEKKEN Fight Pass includes a collaboration with NIKE, bringing exclusive in-game shoes. Players can also grab the limited-time Gentle Monster sunglasses for Kazuya.
