TEKKEN 8’s launch roster is complete, with the addition of Reina, the Purple Lightning, the final character to be announced.
The game’s story will once again center around the fight between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. To take advantage of the latest hardware, all character models have been completely remade from the ground up, providing a better experience for players.
TEKKEN 8 launches with a roster of 32 characters, including returning fan favorites like Paul Phoenix and Yoshimitsu, as well as three brand new additions. Azucena, the formidable MMA fighter hailing from the lush lands of Peru. Victor Chevalier, the French leader of the Raven Force. Now we have our third, Reina.
Reina is a student at the Mishima Polytechnical School, and she has a very particular interest in Jin Kazama, especially in fighting him. What is her connection to Jin? Is she related to him in some way? These are just a few of the questions that fans are asking about this mysterious new character.
Reina’s fighting style is characterized by her lightning-quick movements and her ability to generate electricity. She can use her electricity to charge up her attacks, making them even more powerful. She can also use it to create traps and projectiles, making her a very versatile fighter.
TEKKEN 8 will be released on 26 January 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, using the power of this generation of consoles to offer a visually stunning experience along with a vision promoting aggressiveness and spectacular battle action.
