They saw what their fellow countrymen in Lynn Vision did and wanted to do the same. We see TYLOO also advance in to Stage 2 of the Major with a 3-2 record and a win over the Australian rivals FlyQuest.
It seems like a curse for FlyQuest, to go 2-0 up on the first day and then to eventually lose 2-3 without winning a single best-of-three at the major. Unfortunately it happened again with the loss against TYLOO and it means the Australians go home empty handed.
It was a dominant first day with Wildcard winning both opening games, including a 13-1 over Metizport. From there it all went downhill as they lose to B8 and then BetBoom and finally Legacy.
For a team that wasn't even meant to be at the major, Legacy are making the most of their opportunity. Taking out some tough competition to make their mark and prove that they deserve to be here.
Coming in to Stage 1, NRG was one of the favorites to advance in to Stage 2, but here we are with them exiting 3-2. It looked alright at the start, but some tough loses to OG and Lynn Vision sealed the deal.
Lynn Vision came out on top of the Chinese Regional Qualifier ahead of TYLOO, but both teams ended up 2-2. We will have to see how TYLOO does, but we know that Lynn Vision will be advancing to Stage 2 of BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
