It all comes down to this, the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Stage 2 Playoffs. The six best teams from the Americas region playing off for three spots in the grand VALORANT Champions tournament, live from Los Angeles. Let’s break down everything you need to know, including the format, prize pool, participants, and schedule.
Format
Over the last four weeks all 11 of the VCT Americas 2024 teams have been playing games in a round robin format to determine seeding for this Playoffs. The top two get to skip straight into the Upper Bracket Semifinals, while the 3rd-6th teams have to earn it first.
The tournament will be played in a double-elimination bracket, where you need to lose twice to be eliminated (with the exception of the teams that lose the Knockout Opening Games).
Every game is a best-of-three (BO3), except the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final which will played as a best-of-five (BO5).
Prize Pool
The $250,000 USD prize pool will be distributed a follows:
- 🥇1st: $100,000 and VCT Champions spot
- 🥈2nd: $65,000 and VCT Champions spot
- 🥉3rd: $40,000 and VCT Champions spot
- 4th: $40,000
- 5th-6th: $25,000
- 7th-11th: Nothing
