Riot Games has officially released “M.I.A (VALORANT Game Changers Version)”, a special collaboration with global pop group KATSEYE, created to celebrate the 2025 VALORANT Game Changers Championship in Seoul, South Korea. The revamped track arrives today across all major streaming platforms, complete with a stylish cinematic music video.
This release continues Riot’s tradition of using music to define VALORANT’s competitive identity—this time with an anthem built around empowerment, confidence, and the mission behind the Game Changers program.
Spotlight on Women and Marginalized Genders in Esports
VALORANT Game Changers was created to expand opportunities for women and marginalized genders in competitive play. The new version of “M.I.A” leans directly into that spirit, mixing high-energy electronic and dance-pop production with lyrics tailored toward the Game Changers movement.
KATSEYE’s Megan shared her excitement about the collaboration:
“When Riot asked us to reimagine M.I.A for Game Changers, as a gamer I was like YES! That song has always been about confidence and showing up as your best self, and that message aligns so much with what Game Changers stands for. We wanted this version to celebrate every player who’s out there pushing limits and owning their power.”

Inside the “GO OFF” Music Video
The new cinematic video, titled “GO OFF,” showcases determination, resilience, and the bonds formed through Game Changers. It highlights the real experiences of women in and around the VALORANT community—competitors, creators, fans, and the people who support them.
Jonny Altepeter, Lead Music Supervisor at Riot Games, praised the partnership:
“Working with KATSEYE to give ‘M.I.A’ a Game Changers twist has been an incredible experience. Their energy and artistry perfectly match the spirit of VALORANT, and Megan’s connection as a player made the collaboration feel that much more authentic.”

Road to Seoul: Game Changers Championship 2025
The VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 takes place November 28–30 at LoL Park in Seoul, marking the program’s most anticipated event yet. Since launching in 2021, Game Changers has expanded representation across VALORANT esports, previously hosting global finals in Berlin and São Paulo.
Past anthems have included:
- “All Eyes On Me” by Jean Deaux & Whipped Cream
- “VALORANT, LOUDER” by Karel Psota
- “THE DRIVE” featuring PREDATOR by YONAKA
With the new “M.I.A” Game Changers Version, Riot and KATSEYE are gearing up to bring even more energy to this year’s event—and set the tone for the competition that will unfold on the Seoul stage.
