The pinnacle of VALORANT competition, the VALORANT Champions 2024, is underway in South Korea. Sixteen teams from around the globe are going head-to-head for the million dollar first prize and glory of being labelled CHAMPION. The VALORANT Champions 2024 kicks off this week and we have all the information you need , including the format, prize pool, participants, and schedule.

Format

The Group Stage sees the sixteen teams randomly drawn into four groups of four. Each group will be played in a double-elimination bracket, where you need to lose twice to be eliminated. The top two teams from each group will advance into the playoffs.

The playoffs are once again played in a double-elimination bracket, where you need to lose twice to be eliminated.

Every game is a best-of-three (BO3), except the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final which will played as a best-of-five (BO5).

Prize Pool

The $2,250,000 USD prize pool will be distributed a follows:

• 🥇1st: $1,000,000
• 🥈2nd: $400,000
• 🥉3rd: $250,000
• 4th: $130,000
• 5th-6th: $85,000
• 7th-8th: $50,000
• 9th-12th: $30,000
• 13th-16th: $20,000
