Outright Games, under license from Paramount Consumer Products, has officially launched SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game today, allowing fans to experience the underwater world of Bikini Bottom through the eyes of the lovable, goofy Patrick Star. The release is a fitting way to celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants’ 25th anniversary and is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

In this new single-player, sandbox adventure, players will experience the underwater hijinks of Patrick Star like never before. Known for his starry-eyed, carefree outlook, Patrick brings a unique perspective to life in Bikini Bottom. Players can take on fun, wacky quests, such as clearing Squidward’s third-favorite sunbathing spot with deck chairs, water cannons, and even burping! Or go on a thrilling skydiving adventure with Sandy Cheeks, using Gliding Wings, a Parachute, or a Parasol to hit targets and land on a moving zone.
As you complete quests, unlock multiple costumes, spot hilarious Easter Eggs, and encounter nods to the series’ most iconic moments. Expect everything from Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen’s grave to Squidward’s infinite sunglasses, and even bubble pies—all in Patrick’s unique world.
