Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has officially announced that Digimon Story Time Stranger will release worldwide on October 3, 2025, bringing a brand-new chapter to the beloved monster-taming RPG franchise.

A story-focused trailer has just dropped, offering fans a deeper look into the narrative that awaits. Players will take on the role of ADAMAS agents Dan Yuki or Kanan Yuki, who are mysteriously thrown into the past to prevent a catastrophic event. The Digital World is on the verge of collapse due to the mysterious Titans — and if it falls, the Human World will suffer devastating consequences.

A World at Stake – And a Mythical Cast of Allies

During their mission to save both worlds, players will meet a range of characters and Digimon, including the legendary Olympos XII, a pantheon of deity-like Digimon who play a pivotal role in the unfolding events. Alongside them are key allies such as Aegiomon and Inori Misono, whose connection hints at deeper story revelations.

Gameplay will blend story-rich exploration with traditional Digimon bonding — players can train, battle, and nurture their partners in the DigiFarm, or use items to fine-tune their stats and unlock new evolution paths. Strategic turn-based combat returns, with players leveraging Digimon attributes, traits, and synergy-based skill combos to gain the upper hand.

Pre-orders are now live across platforms, with multiple editions available to suit different types of players:
