Reigns: The Witcher Launches on PC and Mobile February 25

Published on

The Continent is about to get a lot more crowded—and a lot more decisive. Nerial and Devolver Digital, in partnership with CD PROJEKT RED, have officially announced that Reigns: The Witcher will launch on February 25, 2026.

This brand-new entry in the smash-hit Reigns series brings the gritty, monster-filled world of The Witcher to PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. If you have ever wanted to decide the fate of a Witcher with a simple flick of your finger, your time is coming.

A New Way to Experience Geralt’s Legend

We all know the story of Geralt of Rivia. However, we have never seen it quite like this. Reigns: The Witcher reimagines the White Wolf’s legendary exploits through the dramatic, possibly exaggerated perspective of the famed bard Dandelion.

The game utilizes the signature “swipe-’em-up” mechanic that made the original Reigns a mobile phenomenon. Players will face a constant stream of requests, threats, and dilemmas. You simply swipe left or right to make your choice. But do not let the simple controls fool you. In the world of The Witcher, every choice carries weight.

Navigate a Moral Maze

The core of the experience is the narrative. With thousands of narrative combinations, no two playthroughs will feel exactly the same. You might advise a desperate villager against hunting a dangerous beast. Alternatively, you could humor them, knowing full well it might lead to their untimely demise.

Few choices have clear “good” or “evil” outcomes. You must balance the needs of the church, the people, your coin purse, and your own survival. One wrong swipe could lead to a swift and ignominious end for our favorite monster slayer.

Familiar Faces and New Challenges

It would not be a Witcher game without the iconic supporting cast. As you navigate the story, you will encounter legendary characters including:

  • Yennefer of Vengerberg
  • Triss Merigold
  • Vesemir

Beyond just talking, you will also need to engage in combat minigames to survive the many threats of the Continent.

The Bard’s Tale: Level Up Dandelion

While Geralt does the heavy lifting, Dandelion is the one telling the story. A major part of the gameplay involves leveling up Dandelion’s career. As you progress, you will unlock new plotlines and complete Inspirations.

Your goal is to help Dandelion craft a true epic. The more you play, the more the world expands, revealing deeper secrets and more complex political webs to untangle. It is a fresh twist on a beloved story that rewards curiosity and bold decision-making.

Coming to a Screen Near You

Whether you prefer gaming on your PC or taking the Continent on the go via mobile, you won’t have to wait long. Reigns: The Witcher is optimized for all platforms, ensuring the swiping feels just as tactile on a mouse as it does on a touchscreen.

Wishlisting and pre-registration are available right now. If you want to stay updated on the latest news, you can follow the official Witcher accounts on X, Bluesky, and Facebook.

The White Wolf is ready for his next contract. Are you ready to make the call? Reigns: The Witcher arrives on February 25, 2026.
