The biggest Splatfest event for Splatoon 3 is just around the corner! The Grand Festival Splatfest kicks off on and runs through , bringing 72 hours of non-stop festivities, music, and action-packed gameplay to Nintendo Switch. Players will vote on the theme: “Which is most important to you: Past, Present, or Future?”, and battle it out to defend their team’s honor.
Performances by Splatoon Icons
For the first time, fans will enjoy musical performances by all three iconic groups from the Splatoon series: Deep Cut, the Squid Sisters, and Off the Hook. In the first half of the Splatfest, these groups will rotate between three stages. In the second half, they will come together for a special performance of their new single, “Three Wishes”. Players can also use exclusive emotes during the performances to express themselves in the moment.
Tricolor Battles Return
4-vs-2-vs-2 Tricolor Battles will be available from the start of the Splatfest. For the first 48 hours, players can battle across every previous Tricolor Battle stage, including Scorch Gorge, originally exclusive to the Legend of Zelda-themed Splatfest. In the final 24 hours, the all-new Grand Splatlands Bowl stage will debut, where players can fight for the Ultra Signal and rally their team’s supporters.
Big Run Event and New Rewards
Ahead of the Splatfest, the Big Run event will take place from September 7th to 9th. Salmonids are invading the Grand Splatlands Bowl, and Grizzco needs new employees to fend them off. Players can earn fish scale rewards if the community collects 700,000,000 Golden Eggs worldwide during the event.
Exclusive Rewards and Amiibo
Players who achieve the “Ruler” rank or higher during the Splatfest can take special photos with the in-game groups on the Giant Clam stage. Owners of the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass will also unlock special poses with the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook.
Additionally, two new sets of amiibo figures featuring the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook as they appear in Splatoon 3 and the Side Order DLC are available now. Scanning the amiibo unlocks special gear and lets players take photos with the figures.
