Season 3 of Pokémon Legends: Z-A Ranked Battles is officially underway, giving Trainers another chance to face real opponents, climb the competitive ladder, and earn rare, high-value items you won’t find anywhere else.

The season runs November 26, 2025 at 10:00 p.m. PST through December 17, 2025 at 5:59 p.m. PST, so the competition window is tight—every battle counts.

Format: Team of 3 Pokémon from Level 1 to Level 100. All Pokémon then set to Level 50 with a 3 minute battle time.

• Lumiose Pokedex (001-231)
• Only one of Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Diancie
• All Available Mega Evolutions

Banned Pokemon

• None

Rewards

Season 3 offers two extremely rare rewards for competitive climbers:

• Chesnaughtite — awarded to Trainers who reach Rank S, unlocking Mega Chesnaught.
• Delphoxite — awarded again this season to Trainers who hit Rank V, unlocking Mega Delphox.
• Greninjite — awarded again this season to Trainers who hit Rank Y, unlocking Mega Greninja.

How to Participate

To start a Ranked Battle, follow these steps:

1. Launch your Pokémon Legends: Z-A game.
2. Press the X Button to open the main menu.
3. Select Link Play.
4. Select Ranked Battles.

You will need to finish at least one match with a win or loss during Season 2 to be eligible for season rewards at the end of the season. To receive your in-game season rewards, follow these steps:

1. After the season has ended, launch your Pokémon Legends: Z-A game. 
2. Press the X Button to open the main menu.
3. Select Link Play.
4. Select Ranked Battles.
