A brand-new Academy Event is about to land in Pokémon Masters EX, and trainers won’t have long to wait. The upcoming event, titled “Learning & Relaxing,” has officially been announced and will introduce a new storyline at Pasio Academy — along with three new Sync Pairs joining the roster.
What is an Academy Event?
In Pokémon Masters EX, an Academy Event offers a special, limited-time storyline where you train alongside an Academy Sync Pair at Pasio Academy, complete battles and challenges, and earn unique Sync Orbs you can’t get anywhere else.
You’ll unlock a new Sync Pair during the story, and then push through rounds of battles to develop them via their in-training sync grid. Only once you finish their grid can you use them in standard play.
Meet the New Sync Pairs
Kabu (Academy) & Camerupt bring serious heat to the halls of Pasio Academy, kicking off the new term with fiery intensity. Meanwhile, Jasmine and Hugh step onto campus ready for their own academic adventures.
Hugh arrives from Aspertia City in Unova, driven by a fierce sense of justice and an unwavering devotion to his sister. He refuses to stand by when anything threatens the bond between people and Pokémon.
Jasmine, the Steel-type Gym Leader known for her warm and caring nature, joins the event with her trademark gentle demeanor. But start her talking about Steel-types, and that soft personality can ignite with surprising passion.
How to Jump In
Once the event launches:
- Open Pokémon Masters EX and head to the Events menu.
- Choose “Learning & Relaxing” and begin the story chapter at Pasio Academy.
- Unlock and recruit one of the event’s featured Sync Pairs.
- Battle through Academy rounds, collect Sync Orbs, fill the in-training grid, and evolve your Sync Pair.
- Once their grid is complete, your new Sync Pair is ready for standard play.
