A Partnership for Mental Health: Beyond Blue
PAX Aus is more than just a trade show; it is a community. This year, the event is proud to partner with Beyond Blue. As the official charity partner, Beyond Blue will be present on the event floor to support the mental health of the Australian gaming community.
Georgie Harman AO, CEO of Beyond Blue, highlighted the importance of this connection:
“We’re proud to be returning to PAX as the event’s official charity partner, and to continue to be part of a community that connects people through play. Last year, we saw first‑hand how strongly the gaming community shows up for one another. For many people, gaming in moderation can promote connection, friendships, enjoyment, and a sense of belonging – helping them look after themselves and others. With PAX, we can help keep mental health part of everyday life, reminding people of the importance of looking after themselves and that it’s never too early to reach out to Beyond Blue if they’re struggling.”

What to Expect at PAX Aus 2026
Taking place from October 9–11, 2026, PAX Aus remains the grand finale of Melbourne International Games Week. The event will feature a massive variety of content, from developer panels to the iconic Indie Showcase.
Lauren Luciani, PAX Aus Event Director, expressed her excitement for the upcoming show:
“After an incredible year in 2025, we’re so excited to welcome fans back for PAX Aus 2026 and introduce them to PAX Land. Every year we aim to create an unforgettable experience for every kind of gamer, whether you love AAA blockbusters, indie gems, family tabletop game nights, mobile gaming, or live panels. But it’s the passion and energy of our community that truly powers the event. We can’t wait to see everyone back at MCEC in October for three full days of reveals, community, and ridiculous amounts of gaming.”
With publishers and developers already preparing their booths, PAX Land is shaping up to be the ultimate destination for gamers. Book your leave, grab your badges, and get ready for the ride.
