The spotlight’s on Australia’s cosplay elite once again, as entries officially open for the Cosplay Central Crown Championships 2025 – with the winner earning the chance to represent Australia on the world stage in London next year.

Held on Sunday, October 12 during PAX Aus 2025 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the national finals will crown one talented cosplayer to advance to the global finals at MCM London in May 2026.

The winner will score:

• Return flights and accommodation for MCM London
• Badges for MCM London and PAX Aus 2026
• A coveted trophy
• And the honour of representing Australia among the world’s top cosplayers

Judging Panel Revealed

This year’s panel brings together an epic lineup of international and local cosplay talent:

• Anaelic (UK): Renowned for her meticulous builds and popular tutorials, Anaelic placed third at the 2025 C2E2 World Final and has worked with Riot Games and HoYoverse.
• Henchwench (AUS): Australia’s own cosplay icon and reigning 2025 World Champion, known for her film-grade armour, prop work, and professional builds alongside Scrap Shop Props.
• Kayla Jean (AUS): Beloved for her pin-up cosplay flair, Kayla brings expert-level fabric skills and an inspiring presence on social media through her short-form tutorial content.

Together, the trio will bring expert insights, technique critiques, and a passion for the craft to this year’s judging table.
