Souvenir Highlights: A New Way to Remember the BLAST.tv Austin Major

Published on

The BLAST.tv Austin Major is just around the corner, and Counter-Strike 2 fans are gearing up for one of the biggest events of the year. Whether you’re here for the jaw-dropping plays or the unforgettable atmospheres, there’s now an even more personal way to commemorate your favorite moments – introducing the all-new Souvenir Highlight Packages.

Pick’Ems, Challenge Coins, and Souvenirs Return

To get started, activate your Austin 2025 Viewer Pass and set your Pick’Em predictions before the opening matches begin. Just like past Majors, you’ll be able to climb the Challenge Coin ladder by making accurate predictions and completing in-game challenges.

You can read more about these in our previous article.

Souvenir Highlight Packages – Only from the Playoffs

For the first time, choosing a playoff match for your souvenir reward will grant you access to a Souvenir Highlight Package – a new form of collectible designed to celebrate the biggest plays from the tournament’s most intense matches.

Each Souvenir Highlight Package contains:

  • A souvenir weapon from the playoff map you select
  • A charm featuring a video highlight from that specific match
  • A detailed description tag explaining the moment that was captured
  • The ability to watch the video directly from your CS2 inventory, via Steam, or while spectating in-game

This new feature brings a fresh level of interactivity to CS2 souvenirs. It’s not just about owning a weapon skin tied to the match – now you can relive the action that made it unforgettable.

When Can You Redeem Them?

Souvenir Highlight Packages won’t be available immediately. They’ll take some time to compile after the Major wraps up, but Valve has confirmed they’ll be redeemable shortly after the event concludes.

So while you’re watching the playoffs unfold, keep an eye out for the clutch moments and big plays you might want to carry with you – literally.
