Team Spirit vs. MOUZ

Team Spirit enters the playoffs as a heavy favorite after a flawless Stage 3 run, where they took victories over NAVI and paiN. Notably, donk continues to post unreal numbers, recently finishing Stage 3 with a 1.48 rating.

MOUZ, on the other hand, had to scrape their way into the playoffs after a rocky start to Stage 3. A tough loss to Virtus.pro raised doubts, but they clawed their way back with resilience. This matchup looks to favor Spirit, but MOUZ are not a team to be overlooked.

Team Vitality vs. NAVI

Vitality’s matchup against NAVI promises to deliver some of the highest-level competition we’ve seen at the Major so far. Vitality are surely carrying a chip on their shoulder after a stunningly convincing loss to Legacy in Stage 3. That 13-3 Inferno created a few questions around Vitality’s current form. Still, they bounced back nicely and secured their spot in the playoffs by winning their next three.

NAVI, by contrast, looked solid through Stage 3, navigating their group with a 3-1 record, only losing to Spirit, who have shown excellent form as of late. Vitality are still the favorites to take home the trophy, but NAVI will pose a very legitimate threat to their chances.

paiN Gaming vs. FURIA

In a Brazilian head-to-head, paiN Gaming faces off against FURIA. paiN earned their playoff spot with a gritty 3-2 finish in Stage 3, capped by an elimination match victory over Virtus.pro. While they’ve been living on the edge of elimination, their clutch factor is undeniable.

FURIA arrives with a fresh identity. They’ve added structure and experience to their aggression. The addition of YEKINDAR and the continued leadership of FalleN have made this squad far more adaptable than in previous iterations. It’s a matchup that Counter-Strike fans in Brazil are justifiably excited about.

The MongolZ vs. FaZe Clan

The final quarterfinal is set between The MongolZ and FaZe Clan, two teams arriving with very different stories. The MongolZ continue to prove that they’re more than just a regional threat, grinding their way through Stage 3 with a resilient 3-2 record. They looked very good against G2 in their last match of Stage 3, with Techno4k and 910 pulling out some big rounds.

FaZe looked sharp in Stage 3 and bring with them a wealth of playoff experience and star power. With players like s1mple and frozen finding form at just the right time, FaZe enters this match as the favorite, but they’ll need to stay sharp to beat this MongolZ squad.
