The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 quarterfinals are locked in, featuring heavy hitters like Vitality, Spirit, and FaZe alongside underdog stories like The MongolZ and MOUZ.

It has been a long journey and twenty four teams have fallen short, but the top eight teams for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 descend upon the Moody Center.

After battling through the intense early phases of Stage 1 and Stage 2, eight teams have emerged to join the eight directly invited squads in the final showdown.

The million dollar prize is getting close for the eight teams who have fought their way to Stage 3, but standing between them and the playoffs are the Stage 3 invites.

Stage 1 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 has concluded, but the eight top teams have an even tougher challenge ahead and that is the Stage 2 Invites.

We have seen the first stage end the Major dream for eight teams, now it is time to step it up as the top eight take on the Stage 2 invites.

They saw what their fellow countrymen in Lynn Vision did and wanted to do the same. We see TYLOO also advance in to Stage 2 of the Major with a 3-2 record and a win over the Australian rivals FlyQuest.

It seems like a curse for FlyQuest, to go 2-0 up on the first day and then to eventually lose 2-3 without winning a single best-of-three at the major. Unfortunately it happened again with the loss against TYLOO and it means the Australians go home empty handed.

It was a dominant first day with Wildcard winning both opening games, including a 13-1 over Metizport. From there it all went downhill as they lose to B8 and then BetBoom and finally Legacy.

For a team that wasn't even meant to be at the major, Legacy are making the most of their opportunity. Taking out some tough competition to make their mark and prove that they deserve to be here.
