FURIA have pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in CS2 history, completing a reverse sweep against Natus Vincere to win the TFURIA have claimed the Thunderpick World Championship 2025 title in dramatic fashion, pulling off a stunning reverse sweep against Natus Vincere to secure the $500,000 first-place prize and set a new viewership record for the series.
The Brazilian powerhouse became the stars of one of the most competitive Thunderpick tournaments to date, which featured four of the world’s top 10 CS2 teams. Despite falling behind 0–2 in the Grand Final, FURIA roared back with an incredible display of resilience and precision, closing out the decisive map with a commanding 13–1 victory.

Natus Vincere finished in second place, taking home $150,000, while defending champions The MongolZ secured third with a win over Aurora, who placed fourth. Both teams walked away with $70,000 and $50,000, respectively. Venom, 9z, Imperial, and OG rounded out the top eight, each earning $20,000.

This year’s championship saw a 62% increase in viewership over last year’s finals, marking another milestone for the growing Thunderpick series.
The 2025 event follows a strong competitive legacy — FaZe Clan took the inaugural crown in 2023, while The MongolZ shocked the world in 2024 with their upset victory over HEROIC, cementing themselves as a global force.
