Global tabletop publisher asmodee is officially making its debut at PAX Australia 2025 (October 10–12 at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre). The company, formerly known as VR Distribution, is bringing a blockbuster showcase filled with fan-favorite titles, exclusives, and special events.
Among the highlights is the presence of Kevin Hovdestad, Director of Brand Development at CATAN Studios, who will be on hand throughout the weekend to celebrate the 30th anniversary of CATAN.

CATAN 30th Anniversary Celebrations
Visitors can try the refreshed CATAN 6th Edition, featuring updated visuals and upgraded components. Fans can also take part in themed activities across the weekend, including:
- CATAN Dice Chase – Collect all five resource dice and score one of 100 premium dice per day (300 total).
- CATAN Connect – A rapid-fire experience for 10+ players, available only at conventions.
- Challenge the Champions – Go head-to-head with CATAN tournament winners Elliot Yap and Kaleb McGillivray-Seaton for the chance to win Exit: The Game – Adventures on CATAN.

Star Wars: Unlimited Exclusives
Fans of a galaxy far, far away can dive into Star Wars: Unlimited with demos of the latest set, Legends of the Force. Players will also score an exclusive Darth Tyranus promo card (while stocks last).
Even bigger is the reveal of a collector’s edition promo box, limited to just 500 units. Priced at $199.95, the set includes six unique droid card variants in a special R2-D2-themed case.

asmodee is also the presenting partner of TGDA’s DevCon 2025, helping support Australian tabletop designers and emerging creators.
