PAX Aus 2025 announces Nintendo, Xbox, and more!

With just weeks to go, PAX Aus 2025 is shaping up to be an unmissable celebration of gaming culture. Fans can look forward to a sprawling tabletop area packed with major franchises and fan-favorite experiences, plus an impressive roster of special guests including Amelia Tyler, Ify Nwadiwe, Luke Dale, Josh Sawyer, Joshua Mills, and Storytime speaker Gavin Verhey.

Today, organizers also pulled back the curtain on this year’s Expo Floor, confirming a powerhouse exhibitor lineup: Nintendo, Xbox, The Sims, Devolver Digital & Massive Monster, Bethesda, Gearbox, and Ubisoft will all be on hand with new hardware, blockbuster titles, exclusive content, and can’t-miss activations — all alongside a weekend full of thrilling esports tournaments.

Nintendo

Nintendo Australia is set to make a huge splash at PAX Aus 2025 with a booth packed full of titles for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. For the first time in Australia, fans will be able to step into Lumiose City with a hands-on demo of Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition ahead of its October 16 release. Attendees can also take to the skies in the fast-paced vehicle action of Kirby Air Riders, launching November 20.

The booth doesn’t stop there—players can test out Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, experience the new Joy-Con 2 mouse controls with Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, and dive into highly anticipated third-party titles like Hollow Knight: Silksong and Hades II.

Xbox

Xbox is bringing the heat to PAX Aus 2025 with its massive THIS IS AN XBOX booth – a larger-than-life gaming rig overflowing with unmissable experiences. Fans will be among the first in Australia to get hands-on with the ROG Xbox Ally and the all-new ROG Xbox Ally X, while stepping into the action with NINJA GAIDEN 4. Built for discovery and packed with surprises, the booth promises secret finds, epic photo ops, and pure PAX energy at its peak.

The Sims

The Sims is heading to camp at PAX Aus 2025 with the playful and nostalgic Camp Gibbi Gibbi booth. Fans can dive into the brand-new expansion pack Adventure Awaits, try their hand at classic camp activities, and snag exclusive Sims merch along the way. The Sims FreePlay is also joining the fun, offering a first look at its upcoming update with an in-game campground lot complete with bug catching, birdwatching, and more. Time to throw on your Plumbob and embrace the adventure – The Sims is bringing summer camp vibes to the show floor!

Devolver Digital & Massive Monster

Cult of the Lamb takes center stage at PAX Aus 2025 with the world-first hands-on demo of its brand-new DLC, Woolhaven. The booth promises plenty of surprises, including exclusive merch drops and a chance to snap a photo with The Lamb inside a real-life recreation of the in-game Temple. A true must-visit for fans of Massive Monster’s cult hit.

Bethesda

Bethesda APAC is going all out this October with an immersive Fallout takeover. Fans can step into a Red Rocket-inspired diner and Vault-Tec cafeteria, complete with themed props, prizes, and photo ops that drop you straight into the Wasteland.

That’s not all—The Elder Scrolls Online Studio Game Director Rich Lambert will hit the stage for a live storytelling panel, while DOOM: The Dark Ages makes its presence felt with massive props at the Aftershock PC booth.

Collectors, take note: an exclusive Fallout 76 Pinny Arcade pin—inspired by the Gone Fission update—will also be up for grabs, making this a booth no Bethesda fan should miss.

Gearbox

Step into the chaos—Gearbox is bringing Borderlands 4 front and center at PAX Australia. Fans will get exclusive updates on the upcoming game, plus never-before-heard stories from behind the scenes of development. Whether you’re a seasoned Vault Hunter or new to the franchise, this is your chance to hear directly from the team shaping the next chapter of the Borderlands saga.

The mayhem doesn’t stop there. Moxxi’s Bar will be open before and after the panel, serving up themed drinks, giveaways, and the perfect spot to connect with fellow Borderlands fans.

Ubisoft

Ubisoft is bringing the action to Melbourne with live esports celebrating the 10th anniversary of Rainbow Six Siege. The best teams from across the Asia Pacific League will battle it out for a coveted spot at the Munich Major, alongside a creator showmatch and a fireside chat with Game Director Joshua Mills.

Fans can also switch gears and hit the dance floor, with the latest Just Dance tracks lighting up the Expo Hall all weekend.

Aftershock

Aftershock is turning up the hype at PAX Australia with a packed booth full of activations and surprises. Fans can tune into live-streaming for the Starlight Foundation, watch Broxh’s live carving, and catch high-energy performances by Marshall Hamburger. The booth also features daily influencer 1v1s, new product launches from Clevergear and SteelSeries, and jaw-dropping custom PC builds from Ultralabs. Attendees can dive into Flight Sim activations, try their luck at the claw machine, grab exclusive merch, win daily giveaways, and even purchase a new PC with on-site pickup.

Beyond Aftershock, PAX Aus 2025 will host an impressive line-up of hardware and peripheral brands, giving fans hands-on time with the latest tech. Exhibitors include Blackmagic Design, Blue Mouth Interactive, Keychron, CentreCom, Clever Gear, Mastex, MSI, PowerA, Sony InZone, Thermaltake, and Turtle Beach, each bringing cutting-edge products, immersive activations, and exclusive show specials to the floor.

eBay

eBay is bringing the Passport Adventure to PAX – an interactive quest connecting collectors, gamers, and sellers throughout the Tabletop Hall. Attendees can take on challenges to earn stamps, then visit the eBay Collectors Club House to claim exclusive prizes. Guests can also explore the Museum Wall, showcasing iconic gaming collectibles, try their hand at vintage arcade games, and get a shot at the Grand Prize Locker – all celebrating community, discovery, and the thrill of collecting in true eBay style.

ÆRTHLINGS – Modern Games

ÆRTH has fallen to the MOONLINGS, and the quest to rebuild begins at PAX AUS. The Queue Hall turns into the frontline as thousands of free, limited-edition Seed Series I ÆRTHLINGS land in fans’ hands each morning. Each mystery figure unlocks a hero in the free-to-play game, where collecting, trading, and nonstop discovery collide. Big screens, bigger energy, and a first-ever launch—only at PAX AUS!

Red Bull

The iconic game loved by millions returns with exciting new twists. From phone to drone, Red Bull Tetris® comes to life in an all-new immersive experience at PAX AUS 2025. A special in-convention leaderboard will put the best players to the test, letting fans go head-to-head for bragging rights. Compete for a spot in the National Final, and earn the chance to represent Australia at the World Final in Dubai this December 2025.

Australian Esports League (AEL)

Esports fans, get ready! The AEL Nationals are landing at PAX AUS, showcasing the top school and university talent across Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, and VALORANT. With live commentary, edge-of-your-seat matches, and activations from partners like Indomie Australia, AGON by AOC, HyperX, Officeworks, Intel, and HP Omen, this is shaping up to be the most electrifying esports event of the year.
