Bloober Team and Bandai Namco team up for Cronos: The New Dawn physical release

Published on

Acclaimed Polish studio Bloober Team, known for genre-defining psychological horror titles like The Medium, Observer, and the upcoming SILENT HILL 2 remake, has officially partnered with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe to handle the physical distribution of Cronos: The New Dawn across select global markets.

Under the agreement, Bandai Namco will manage manufacturing, distribution, sales, and marketing for boxed editions of the game on PlayStation 5 and PC, across Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. This marks a major step for Bloober Team’s strategy to solidify Cronos: The New Dawn as its flagship original IP.

Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said:

“Partnering with such a prestigious company enables us to reach players who value physical editions—an important pillar of our strategy. This collaboration represents a major milestone in expanding Bloober Team’s global footprint.”

Bandai Namco’s Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, VP of Business Development, added:

“We’re incredibly proud to collaborate with such a talented studio as Bloober Team. Cronos promises to be a thrilling creative venture and a fantastic addition to our portfolio.”

What is Cronos: The New Dawn?

Cronos: The New Dawn is a narrative-driven survival horror title with a retro-futuristic twist, transporting players between a ravaged future and 1980s Kraków, including the real-world Nowa Huta district. The story will weave themes of Cold War paranoia, dystopian technology, and human resilience—hallmarks of Bloober Team’s signature storytelling.

Set for release in 2025, Cronos: The New Dawn will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A digital version will be available globally, while the physical boxed editions—a collector’s dream—will be rolled out in partnership with Bandai Namco in key markets.

Fans of SILENT HILL, Layers of Fear, and Observer should keep their eyes on Cronos—this could be Bloober’s most ambitious project yet.
