PAX Aus is excited to reveal the winners of this year’s Aus Indie Showcase, showcasing the creativity of independent developers from across the nation. This year’s Showcase stands out with an exceptional 12 winners, evenly divided between digital and tabletop categories, reflecting the impressive number and quality of submissions received.

Max Mustard by Toast Interactive is a vibrant platformer where players take on the role of the titular hero, tasked with rescuing adorable mudpups from the clutches of the villainous Stubbins. Combining first-person power-ups with classic third-person platforming, the game offers immersive worlds, challenging puzzles, and tough decisions that shape the adventure.
Untethered by True Anomaly Entertainment challenges players to survive the harshness of space. With a focus on immersion, players scavenge, craft, and build their own space station to withstand the deadly environment.
Anticitizen: Red by Queebly Software is a cyberpunk action game set in an American-occupied Australia. Players wield bullet time, parkour-inspired movement, and improvised weapons to fight biker gangs and corporate police. The game features a unique cast of Aussie characters and explores the rich lore of this dystopian world.
Ascending Inferno by Oppolyon Studios is a high-octane platformer that will put your skills to the test. Players must master precise ball control to navigate treacherous levels, using dribbles, headers, and kicks to save their sibling, Vincent, who conveniently resembles a soccer ball.
Rita by SporkTank is a unique blend of crossword puzzles and RPG exploration. Players guide the lovable chicklet, Rita, through charming worlds, solving puzzles, and interacting with quirky characters.
The Rewinder 2 by Misty Mountain Studio is an action-adventure game inspired by Eastern mythology. Players explore haunted villages and dungeons, solving mysteries and battling ghosts and monsters.
