In the Nintendo Direct Mini today we got to learn about a new Battle pack for Pokken Tournament DX featuring two new Battle Pokémon and four new Support Pokémon available for purchase right now in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch.

Wave 1 of the Battle Pack contains Battle Pokémon Aegislash (Steel/Ghost - Gen 6) and a new Support Pokémon Set featuring Mega Rayquaza (Dragon/Flying - Gen 3) and Mimikyu (Ghost/Fairy - Gen 7). Aegislash can change between two formes, his Blade Forme and Shield Forme, and players can wield them both. This wave is scheduled to be released on January 31st.

Wave 2 includes the new Battle Pokémon Blastoise (Water - Gen 1) and a new Support Pokémon Set featuring Mew (Psychic - Gen 1) and Celebi (Psychic/Grass - Gen 2). Blastoise is the second generation one start evolution to join the game alongside Charizard, and the seventh starter evolution overall. Wave 2 is set to be available on March 23rd.
